Youth Forums are structured events led and organized by students within and among schools to express their ideas, opinions and proposals concerning relevant topics with a democratic decision-making process. They build student's capacities to act consciously within and outside schools towards a more democratic and equal society. Youth Forums aim to simulate a legislative reality to create policies' experiences and engage young people in civic participation. Therefore, they enhance ownership towards learning opportunities provided in schools, foster collaboration among students, teachers and school’s staff, create a common vision and school ethos.
